Congrats to you Mr.Stuart and your party members, on being the alternative to the two major political parties.Unfortunately, you have no candidate for my constituent(golden gates) therefore I wish your member success.May God keep you and the party faithfull strong, and hopefully the next go round you'll have someone for my area.Go B.D.M.

CHANGE     change@hotmail.com
Mr. Stuart I wish you every success. As many have posted, the country needs a breath of fresh air. The PLP and FNM are making noise like little children about who brought in the most foriegn investors. The reality of the matter is that, yes, the economic aspect of the country is on the rise, but socially the country is falling apart. We need to take care of business at home first before we venture out. Drive by shooting was something we watched on television, now its an everyday occurrence. Are we beter off as a society? I would think not!!! I only wish the BDM had gotten the word out earlier. You should have worked the streets aggressively from the jump and campaigned more. I know you don't have the financial backing like the other parties, but a strong door to door campaign would have been cost effective. There are many out there that want a true change. Keep pushing forward, determination is key.

I have met one of your candidates. From what I can see I think he is a good choice. I believe that i he had campaigned earlier he would have gotten more support.

I really wish the BDM had a candidate in Killarney so that i could support this party, because I am totally disgusted in the PLP and I don't trust Hubert, so what do i do? I was in Mount Moriah and i was all prepared to vote for Harry Lewis, but now because of the boundary cuts, I find myself in Killarney, and no BDM candidate! I wish the BDM every success in this election, I will pray that you get every seat that you are contesting, because i know Bahamians are really turned off with both parties, so hopefully they will look in another direction. In the meantime, what do I do, vote PLP or FNM? Maybe I won't vote...

A MAN WITHOUT A ISLAND BUT PEOPLE WITH HIM     hjohnson@bdmparty.com
Mr Stuart I would like to say congrads on your new website. I am a young man who like your party and I like the way you'll stand up for the young people and Bahamian people in general. As we the country move forward Please keep doing what you are doing to keep who ever is the government on their toes. As one of the writers wrote earlier your canidates need to be in the area earlier to get the impact so people can know who they are to support them. I understand that the PLP took long to set a date and they made some changes but that shouldn't stop you from getting your people out there and work. I am in Bamboo Town and I know Mr. Smith and he is a great man but i feel he would get more votes if he was out there long time. He will get my support although i support the FNM for the government but i feel that he can make a difference and PLEASE this time hope he stays in that community and work it because it can be won by him if he work that area and get the right people on his side to work it with him in the next election not saying he can't win it now.

My name is Killie im a 17 year old student. I just wanted to say that I am glad to see a next party other than the PLP and the FNM emerge on the political aspect. Over two and a half months now i have been hearding the FNM this and PLP that, but from my point of view, yes they did wrong and yes they did some right. But its time for a CHANGE PEOPLE. WE HAVE BEEN STUCK IN THE PASS TWO LONG BETWEEN THESE TWO POLITICAL PARTY, ITS TIME FOR A NEW PARTY(BDM) TO STEP IN AND HAVE A CHANCE TO PROVE THEIR SELF TO THE BAHAMIAN SOCIETY. the fact is that Bahamians dont like change, but it is change that sometimes make us better! If I was 18 I would vote for BDM all the way. My friends have constantly asked me every day who i am, and i would tell them BDM because i have faith in them. Yes PLP and FNM laid the foundation but is time for BDM to finish the product. Speaking about chance a friend of mines told me that BDM doesnt have any experience, so no one would vote them in. But I told him that how would you expect them to have experience if no one is willing to give them a try, secondly Hubert nor Perry had any exprience as a PM when they first became PM and thirdly the same occupations most political party memebers have, so does the BDM( and majotity of the jobs holds the quality of leadership. thats my 5 cents BDM all the way

Dear Cassius, HAT' S OFF TO ANOTHER GREAT STUART. On the eve of this major election in OUR BAHAMALAND I am estactic to see that you and your team have not lost hope. Just a few minutes ago, I watched with much interest your video presentation or virtual display of your plans for our future relative to decentralization of the population. You know already that one of my pet peeves with both of our previous government is their failure to design and develop another city in The Bahamas. As a new comer to Freeport, I beginning to appreciate more, the history of Freeport. Wallace Groves an American developed the city 50 years ago and the city complete with man-made canals, organized infrastructure, industrial placements is still standing. Is it progressing? Well, that's another story. However, the same way he developed Freeport, our governments, particularly the PLP had numerous opportunities to create another city other than Nassau. Andros does seeem like a sensible choice given its vast land mass and its close proximity to NP. The government should have encouraged Atlantis to spread its wings in Andros for example. New Providence simply cannot absorb the numbers of Bahamians. The place is about to sink. I was wise, I got out with intentions to spread my wings all over the islands before it is too late. God bless you and yours Cassius. God Bless your dreams. You are a man of much vision. I trust that Bahamians realize the GREATNESS of Cassius Stuart, if not now sometime in the near future. I hope that no matter what the results of Election 2007, you and Omar will stay focused, you will continue to be the watch dog of Bahamian politics. Your time if not now is only a matter of time. It ain't long now!

It was interesting to see the support given to the BDM on Election day. However, it is unfortunate that today, we are still living in a two-party society. I encourage Mr. Cassius V. Stuart to continue the on-going fight to bring about change and transformation to out great Bahama Land. The BDM will indeed have their day. Congratuations and keep up the flight. Your day is coming SOON!
